Strong and good quality

A really great bag and exceptional company to deal with. Received it promptly with no hiccups. The bag itself is very well designed and made.

I am not disappointed in my purchase of the Temple Outdoor backpack/pannier. The quality and workmanship that went into producing these very sturdy bags are obvious, and I really am happy with how they easily go from back pack to bike pannier, even if they are a bit cumbersome to attach to a bike rack, due to their smaller sized bike rack attachment clips. The sandstone khaki color is very nice and exactly what I hoped for too. Shipping to The U.S. was fast and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Temple Outdoor again.

This is a really high quality bag. I just love it. Very thoughtfully designed and the proportions are perfect. Thick and durable waxed canvas material and feels very well-made. Yes, it doesn't clip on and off the rack like a standard pannier, but it's not a big deal to clip it in, and the conversion to backpack is simple and well designed. Temple should expand their bag line, this is a pretty unique product

I love that Backpack! Color is stunning (green-blue) and the quality is amazing!
However I am concerned with the system- to put in your bike rack. It seems a bit fragile to me. We’ll see with the time.

This is the second backpack we have ordered (my husband has the same in stonewash teal). I really love the design and quality, you can see it from the seams and materials used, how the tissue feels in your hands, especially also at the inside. The tissue is a bit unflexible at the beginning, which is due to the waxing, I assume. But it becomes more flexible after a short while of use. Plus: I had a very good contact with the user support team. So full recommendation!

Love it - great bag!
Great material and really nicely designed
Looks awesome

My panniers have just arrived, and I’m very pleased! Very quick delivery to a far flung island. Well worth waiting for the colour I preferred - stonewashed teal. Very well made, tough canvas, metal fittings, and almost completely plastic free, which was my mission! Not a problem to put on and off my rack, and ample room for my needs to and from work, or days out. Fantastic!

It’s an amazing bag, very well design and built, feels like it will last a lifetime. I only have a minor complaint which might not be that big of a deal but it feels like the water bottle pocket is a little bit too low and the bottle is a bit loose, a bit longer pocket would have fixed the problem. But overall I’m super happy with the bag and can’t wait for a full life of adventure with it :)

Perfect for my everyday needs. Anna

Big enough for my commuting needs.
A bit fiddly to connect to and from the cycle rack. Hopefully it is something I'll master soon.
I made the mistake of buying the light colour and I'm afraid it may not have been the wiser option as it can get dirty quite easily and the material is not the easiest to clean up.
It is also missing a reflector on the sides, which is quite surprising, considering what it is intended to be used for.
But I can say, though, that none of this should enough to prevent me from getting a new one for the other side.
Definitely recommend.

This was what I’ve been looking for! I got a lady city ebike. Commute into London everyday. I hang it in front on the handle bar, it fits just well!!!! So I don’t have to carry a heavy bag on my back for 40 minutes. Amazing design, I had it for half year now, still looking strong. Happily to buy another one if needed! Recommended

I've been looking for a pannier that would convert into a backpack and still look great for ages. I was so pleased when I came across the Temple one as it was exactly what I was looking for. I love the waxed cotton and the simplicity of switching between bike bag and back pack and I love that I don't feel like a massive dork wearing it around town or into the office. The only negative is that I was super sensible and went for the black as I wasn't sure the other colours would hold up to rainy commutes for long. Some strong, but dark colours in the future would be great!

excellent and is well made.

I really like the backpack / pannier. It looks great carrying it around and it works well on my bicycle. It's obviously not suitable for serious touriing but for a commute it works well and I can take it into the office without fear of being branded a MAMIL. The high viz fold out improves safety on the ride but can be tucked away. My first time out with it, it was raining heavily and and everything inside stayed dry. I'm so impressed I'm going to buy another for the opposite side.

This was a present and it couldn't be better. Beautiful bag.

Impressive quality of this backpack. Loved the stone colour I bought. Fits well in bike and can easily be pturned into backpack. Love it

This bag is very nicely designed! And the fact I can stick it on my bike and use it as a backpack is amazing!
My only issue is that it is very fiddly to put on my bike rack! Even now I'm used to it, it still feels a little cumbersome and I think it'd be better to have 2 larger carabineers to clip straight on. Plus, the bottom toggle gets caught in the gears if not taken care of, so be careful.
But honestly, beautiful bag and would deffo recommend!

The pannier backpack has changed my cycle commuter life! Putting my laptop in my old pannier made it heavy to carry by hand but now I have it on my back. And it looks good too. Clever fixings.

I saw the backpack online and needed one for my holiday. Perfect size, very light, nice colours. Support was also really good responding promptly.
James W.
Looks good, well made. Top clips are easy but bottom strap is a little fiddly. Survived my recent crash with barely a mark and probably cushioned the blow for the bike. I would definitely buy again. Good job because I bought two!

Great backpack. looks, feel and comfort is 10/10

Super excited to find a pannier that turns into a backpack so you can be a subtle cyclist. It’s really well designed and well made and also perfect that it’s mostly natural fibres.
The only downside for me is that its not designed for smaller backed people as it’s a bit too long so is uncomfortable to wear for too long. Other than that I think it’s the best one out there!
Ana B.
Researching pannier bags for a while, I found most of them pretty ugly and went for this one as I liked the look (especially for the price) the best. It arrived really quickly and I’m super happy with it so far. The colour is a bit darker than on the pictures but looks really nice. Turning the bag into a backpack and back is actually less fiddly than expected (I do it twice a day) and clipping it to the rack is easy too. It doesn’t rattle around on the bike and is equally comfortable to wear as a backpack.
The quality of the material and stitching looks good. I’ve only had it a few weeks so will have to see how it holds up. So far I’m very pleased.

This backpack is top quality really pleased with it you have a Backpack / a bag / or a pannier 3in one think I might need to get a rack on the bike now
Brian M.
I've been giving this backpack some heavy use over the last few weeks, and I cannot find a flaw in it. Attaches to my bike nicely, then is a perfectly comfy backpack too. Brilliant.

As with all Temple products, this backpack is beautiful and well made. But it’s a faff using the hooks to attach it to the rack - bordering on impractical (especially when it’s heavy). I’ve also found that it scuffs very easily. However, it’s a good size and I love that it converts from a pannier bag into a backpack.

Great product - I use it daily as a rucksack and a pannier bag. Only recommendation is to have additional internal pockets, but this is a minor request.
Anonymous
I have a number of pannier bags but was looking for a rucksack which didn't look terrible. This one more than meets the bill! I love it and it comes everywhere with me now. Seems good quality too.
Chris F.
Love this rucksack - great design, durable - not used as a pannier just yet, but was excellent on a recent holday to Spain - thinking of ordering another in the nre teal colour - would definitely recommend.

A good sturdy backpack ideal for carrying laptop etc.

What a bag! I've been using this almost daily for 10 months now and it is holding up like an absolute trooper. I use it as a pannier and rucksack for cycling to work every day. It's got pretty wet on a few occasions and everything inside has stayed dry. I love the high vis flap you can pull out – very useful for commuting in winter. The bottle pockets on the side are the perfect size for slotting in a Hiplock bike lock.
The roll top construction is really useful too. You can use it as a little backpack for a 2 hour walk, or fill it to the brim for a whole weekend away. The material looks great and is surprisingly hardy. No damage whatsoever as of yet, and any marks you get from leaving it on the floor just scrub off. Love it!
Benoit G.
But the attachment at the bottom of the bag is very fiddly to use. Moreover, the front pocket isn’t accessible when the bag is closed due to the closing strap. But otherwise, by far the nicest bag/saddle bag solution I could find. There weren’t many, admittedly.
Emily N.
The bag is clearly great quality and thoughtfully designed. Has so far held up really well in the rain and seems easy to clean despite the light colour.

The bag is great, very sturdy and perfectly waterproof
It's looks amazing as well, which is always nice

I searched for a pannier bag for a while and this one ticks both the stylish and practical boxes. The material seems really durable and the size of the bag is sufficient to fit everything I need when commuting. The only criticism is it can be a little fiddly to put on and off the bike, however if it was designed differently I guess it wouldn't work well as a rucksack too (which is also one of the great things about this bag).
Thanks for creating another great product Temple :-)
Simon C.
Very efficient ordering process and the quality of the product is excellent.

I really like the look of the bag, and the materials feel very high quality. I like the fold-out reflective strip. The straps to attach it to the bike as a pannier are a bit difficult to use. You can’t just slot it on and cycle off. The bag itself is also slightly wonky (the one I have anyway).
Alice W.
Totally love it. Exactly what I need and even better that it doubles as a cool pannier bag for my new Temple bike, too!
Alice G.
great pannier bag!

I was looking for a backpack I could also strap to my handlebars, and there are surprising few out there! This one is light, well-made, handsome and perfect for everyday use. First product from Temple, and now keen to try more products!
Patrick D.
Really pleased with this pannier backpack - great quality, comfy, the just right size to carry a laptop a few things, and easy quick to clip to a rear rack too!
Mark R.
A very attractive, high quality item. The ability to convert quickly and easily from a backpack to a pannier makes it really versatile.

It's great I bought it to use as a drawing bag I could also attach to my bike. In fact I've put it on as a replacement to my worn out panniers and am using it for everything - bike lock, pump, cycle tool, shopping, etc and a sketchbook. easy to attach/take off looks great on the bike - and silent it doesn't rattle or jangle as you ride. v pleased
Rich J.
The bag is the perfect size for throwing iPad, diary, water bottle, spare t-shirt etc in to take to work. I really like not having to move stuff between backpack and pannier bag depending on whether I’m cycling or walking.
The bag itself is lovely, quality material and premium looking clasps.
I could not love or recommend it more.

er ist schön leicht, das material ist natürlich und strapazierfähig zugleich.
sehr bequem am rücken zu tragen.
Silas E.
Good quality product, slightly smaller than expected. Attaches well to the luggage rack, if a bit fiddly to take on and off.
mik s.
Beautifully made, works perfectly as both a pannier bag and then changing back to a backpack. Enough space to carry more than what you need to, has easily covered 40km commuting across wide range of surfaces carrying office clothing, lunch, work stuff and normal bicycling things. Lighter colour shows marks a bit easier but then it is more visible which is more important. Allows you to ride with nothing in pockets which feels great, and having mounted as a pannier bag on a rack means it is not really noticeable when riding unlike a bar bag or seat pack. A really good piece of kit, worth every penny.

Bag is clearly of very high quality and expands very easily to quite a high capacity. Straps for pannier hide away completely to the point you forget it’s a pannier bag. Recommended
Georgina A.
Very stylish and practical backpack. Arrived promptly. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful and well made bag, that is as good a pannier as it is a backpack. Excellent.

High quality piece and ingenious design

Saw my friend had one and was using it daily. Thought it was pretty neat so
I ordered one. It arrived in 2 days, really well packaged and the quality is great.

Really good bag – at last a pannier-rucksack which is well made and has a relaxed style. The only thing I’d change is to remove the reflective panel and outer zip pocket.
James F.
Excellent quality and design coupled with robust versatility - looks great on your back or bike!

This is an excellent product and I’m very pleased with my purchase! It’s incredibly stylish, well made and well designed - highly recommended!

Was so excited to get my hands on one of these! Really well made and does what it says on the tin. It's already my go-to daily bag. Thank you so much Temple!!!
